Our Rest-house
Set on thirty-five acres in Apison, TN.
Beginning of the Rest has a 3 bedroom/2 bath, beautifully renovated cottage, that can sleep 6-8 people. Our desire is to create a place with peaceful light walking trails, quiet pond-side seating and a cozy fire pit for gazing at God’s handiwork.
A Place to Rest
The very first time we set foot on this property, we knew it had something special. Peacefulness swept over us as we took in the scenery, sunlit trees, open country fields and ponds. 2022 was a year of much activity, as work crews and machinery stripped down, stabilized foundations, rebuilt, and designed the landscape to provide a place for missionaries to enjoy and hear from the God of all peace. Beginning of the Rest has not just spruced things up, but has replaced the broken down pieces with beautiful soul filling ones. As with our lives, we long to be tethered to something meaningful, peaceful and life giving.
November 2022 saw the launching of this tucked away place of rest and we can’t wait to have you join us here.
